Meet the Principal

PRINCIPAL LINDSEY BAUMGARTNER
I have been working in education since 2007, and throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching middle school Language Arts at both Lane Middle School and Kekionga Middle School. Additionally, I served as the assistant principal at Miami Middle School, gaining valuable experience in supporting students and staff. I have been the proud principal of Northwood Middle School since 2018.  

I am a proud product of Fort Wayne Community Schools, having attended from kindergarten through 12th grade. I went on to earn my undergraduate degree from Indiana University-Bloomington and later received my master’s degree from Western Governors University (WGU).

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, watching movies, crocheting and traveling. I look forward to working with you to ensure your child’s success and help them thrive both academically and personally!
